Social Justice to me is struggling to fit in or be a part of society, most important be noticeable. to be accepted by others. to be able to do what we may want to do. but most important to overcome obstacles well at first I thought everything was ok fighting for equality would be the purpose but this is impossible to fight for equality because it doesnt exist. well theres many obstacles that is stopping us from getting social justice. well a big one is racism. it existed back then and it is still going on today. I think another obstacle which is seem minor is prejudice.
This basically means that people judge before even getting to talk to a person. i think this is a big one because I have experience it personally I feel and see that i mean people have made remarks or comments about me before and its like why would they do it. I also have witnessed people prejudging other people. I personally don't prejudge because I don't like doing what i wouldn't to others, also i like to treat how I would be like to be treated. I think in order to stop this we need to stop being ignorants and inform ourselves before doing something that may seem right but is wrong or basically saying something we don't know.
I think I could contribute by helping others to become aware that there is more out there than just them or what they are used to. I think that we need to stop society from brainwashing us and tell us things that are not right we need to start becoming more aware that we have a voice and we have to use it. social justice is about people speaking up its about people using using that voice. society along with media sets an image on us of whatever they want and we have to follow that. i think social justice is breaking the average image and setting one, but one that is more realistic too. one that looks more like us, the people. that is what social justice means to me being represented having a voice being abler to like express ourselves but in a realistic world. something that represents the mixture of people in america or even all over the world.
